22 Months

22 months old - when did that happen?  The weather finally warmed up enough this weekend for Lily to play outside.  Our adventure ended rather quickly when Diesel stole Lily's ball and popped it.  At first Lily thought it was hilarious - she watched Diesel chase the ball around the yard while it kept shooting away from her on the snow.  Then Diesel figured out how to get a good hold of it and POOF - the ball was deflated.

Ready to play ball

Right before she kicked it off

Begging Diesel to bring it back

Little footprints - so adorable

She got her ball back

She just realized it wasn't the same shape

She somewhat agreed to let me pose her

Again - when did she get so big?

New Year, New Look

Happy New Year!  It's been awhile since the blog has had a face lift and I thought we should start 2014 off right with a new look.  Santa brought me a pretty good gift this year and I've just finally gotten time to really start playing with it.  So most of my evenings are spent with a cup of hot chocolate or a bowl of popcorn editing photos, sorting through endless pins on Pinterest, or following some of my favorite DIY bloggers bookmarking all of the things I don't have time to do.

The possibilities with this thing are endless and I know I'm just scratching the surface.  I'm counting down the days until my birthday so I can ask for my design and editing software.  Santa said I was pushing my luck when I started to inquire about what was loaded on this thing....

Other than Snowmaggedon, there hasn't been too much excitement this week.  I'm supposed to be in Nashville for a work training right now but the weather put a damper on that when mine (and 10+ of my co-workers) flights were cancelled.  I'm hoping the temperatures start to creep above freezing so Lily can go outside and play.  All week she's been pointing outside and asking for her boots.  We've been finding other ways to keep her entertained - like stick her in front of Sesame Street or let her "help" us cook.  Last night she offered Diesel the spoon for a turn to stir the pasta sauce.  Luckily I got to her before any dog saliva made it's way into our dinner.
