The last week and a half of our lives has been an absolute trainwreck. This post could easily turn into a record breaking long entry so I'll summarize for you:
- Mike and I have both been crazy busy at work.
- Lily woke up with pink eye last Wednesday.
- Mike didn't believe me and wanted to take her to day care. I bet him a dirty diaper she had it and off we went to the doctor who confirmed.
- Mike and I flipped a coin to see who got to stay home from work and ended up both losing after the doctor visit turned into an all day affair. We both stayed home.
- Grandma came to the rescue and took Lily Thursday and Friday. Mike and I enjoyed a nice dinner by ourselves.
- Mike and I threw a diaper party for friends of ours who are expecting their first baby close to Lily's first birthday.
- Mike and baby daddy both had too much to drink. Mike earned himself baby duty for the next five weekends.
- Lily said "dog" and then proceeded to smack Diesel on the head.
- Lily said "dog" and then grabbed a hold of Diesel's fur and wouldn't let go.
- Lily feeds the dog on purpose and giggles when you scold her.
