Well. Julia wasn't too interested. She picked at it daintily. I even let Lily shove cheerios inside hoping she'd go after those. Nope. She was more interested in letting the dog lick her hands clean. And of course I was so irritated with the dog I didn't think to snap any pictures. In hindsight they would have been cute. Live and learn.
One of the projects I decided to undertake for my photography class was Julia's cake smash (two and a half months ago...sigh). I'm not going to lie...it was a little bit anti-climatic. I'd done a lot of reading on how best to prep for it. Most of the articles said to be prepared to work fast, take a few photos of the cake by itself, and voila! you'll have beautiful photos of your little one destroying their cake.
