Project: Undarken

I'm sure my regular blog followers cannot believe their luck - I have posted SO many new things!  You're in luck - my fabulous husband has allowed me to park my amazing computer right in the center of our kitchen until we figure out what to do with the basement.

As I mentioned earlier, the first project we ended up tackling was repainting the ceilings.  I'm not sure why one would ever decide to paint their ceilings tan but it was driving us crazy - not to mention making the house seem small and dreary.

So with the help of Mike and my mom, we were able to accomplish so much in just a week.  I cannot believe how much of a difference it makes in terms of lighting.

First strip rolled on - can you see the difference yet?

Did I mention we found two layers of wallpaper?
