These are my people. And no. I didn't crash the BDO Christmas party. I was invited - as a new employee. It's what BDO calls the boomerang effect.
Today I watched the Welcome to BDO video and I couldn't help but smile when the Chief People Officer (ultimately my new boss) mentioned that BDO is family - from the second you walk through the door and no matter how long you stay - you're always part of the BDO family. I smile because it's true. I left BDO less than a year ago, but BDO never really left me.
I'm excited to share that I'll be starting the new year off leading BDO's central region campus recruiting team. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am to have this opportunity back at a place I love, offering up more flexibility than DU could for our family, all while keeping me on campus - everywhere. And the fabulous Christmas party? Just an added bonus...especially for my husband.
