I boycotted Christmas Cards

I LOVE Christmas cards.  What I don't love is how much they cost, the time it takes me to get them together, and the cost it takes to mail them.  I didn't mean to boycott this year.  I even got my not so agreeable husband to showoff his Santa jammies - he looks thrilled right?

I thought with Thanksgiving being early, I'd have plenty of time to prepare for Christmas.  But here we are - it's December 19th and I was running around like a crazy person this morning finishing up my shopping and no Christmas cards from the Hoy fam in sight.  I also LOVE to get Christmas cards.  We have this perfect opening between our kitchen and dining room and every year since we've moved in here, Lily and I have displayed them along for everyone who visits to see.  I was saddened this year to only receive a few.  Are cards becoming a thing of the past?  I hope not...because I promise we'll be back at it in 2019!
