"My toes are chippin"

When I found out I was having a girl, I was so excited to get to share so many girly experiences with her.  The fact that Lily loves to go shopping and try on shoes makes me so proud - and makes Mike cringe.  So when it came to doing stuff like painting her nails and getting her ears pierced, I wanted to make sure it was something she'd remember and understand.  Ear piercing will come many, many years down the road.  Nail painting however, came a couple of weeks ago…JUST the toes.  She was so excited she wanted to also paint Daddy and Diesel's toes.  Unfortunately neither were up for participating.  Since then, we've repainted once and this morning she reminded me, "Mama.  My toes are chippin."  I've created a monster.
