Hawaiian Vacay

October has been a busy busy month for the Hoys.  Between work, the house, and our vacation, the month literally passed in a blur.  And the fact that Halloween seemed to sneak up on us hasn't helped us slow down much either.  We've been back almost a week now and we're all still trying to shrug off the jet lag in one fashion or another.  Mike and I have been managing to stay awake for the 11:00 news each night, Lily's been waking up for dinner in the middle of the night.

We blew into Hawaii just ahead of Hurricane Ana and met Grandma and Grandpa Sundstrand for a few days of sunshine.  Uncle B and Aunt Jacqueline arrived in time for the rain and we started off the week enjoying Sunday football at the bars and shopping.  The rest of the week was low key for Mike, Lily, and I.  We spent most of our time at the beach and the pool.  We were sad to come back!

I stopped to take a picture of the sunset and Lily started photobombing.

Guess who learned the hula?

I think this is the moment she decided she wanted to be a hula dancer for life
